I have thought about this for weeks.
Once I saw digging start reality hit home and I am compelled to ask this question. A question that many other people have expressed their concern.
What is the thinking of the Hibbing Planning Commission and the city of Hibbing? Originally when Hampton Inn decided to build in Hibbing (and thank God they did) plans were for there to be an eating establishment next door. It would be great for Hampton and all of Hibbing. But no, we now will have another credit union. How many Hampton guest will use it. We need that like I need another hole in my head. Isn’t six banking institutions enough for our city? I am wondering how one person on the commission could have the power to decide if we eat or bank. Do we call that city progression?
