William “Bill” A. Stalker, 75, of Hibbing, died Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at his home.
He was born Dec. 21, 1946, in Brainerd, Minn, to Alexander and Emagene (Hall) Stalker and was a graduate of Brainerd High School. Bill had lived in Brainerd and Effie before becoming a long time Chisholm resident. Bill was united in marriage to Gwen E. (Rupp) on May 3, 2003, in South Dakota.
He loved spending time hunting as a younger man with his father and brother. Bill was proud of his children and being a United States veteran serving as a Navy/Marine in the Vietnam war. He enjoyed his guns and sport shooting.
He is survived by his wife, Gwen; four children: Todd (Kathy) Corner, Heather (Mike) Grimstad, Alex (Jessica) Stalker, Christina (Lynn) Glamm; many grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Robert Stalker
Private Family Graveside Services will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be at The Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Duluth.
