Debbera Joanne Marinaro passed away peacefully in her hospital bed surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, May 22, 2022, after her battle with pancreatic cancer.
She was the first of three children born to Maynard and Loretta Wick on Oct. 13, 1954. She grew up in Embarrass and graduated from Babbitt High School in 1973. She worked in Babbitt for many years at Kasson Game Tables and most recently for the Babbitt City Hall. If she wasn’t winning at pull-tabs at the local establishments she was enjoying her time hitting triple 7’s from a Las Vegas slot machine while visiting family.
She is survived by her mother, Loretta Wick; brother, Dave Wick; sister, Barb Manney; and her two children, Tracy Marinaro and Mike Marinaro.
There will be a celebration of life at Tank’s Bar in Babbitt at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 4.
