Bonnie Sue Main was born May 3rd, 1956, to Kenneth and Jessie (MacMillan) Main of Duluth Minn. Bonnie was second of six siblings and she was given the nickname “Sis” as a child, she was truly the most feisty one of the whole bunch! Bonnie’s Happy Place was at her and Baker’s hide-a-way in the woods. She loved spending time with her family and friends and she also loved to escape to her hide-a-way simply to relax. She was an avid reader and very knowledgeable on all world events and politics. She loved dogs and many creatures of nature especially watching birds and hummingbirds. When her daughters and grandchildren or friends came to her home or out to the hide-a-way, she always took a lot of pictures and spoke of how much fun she would have with them. And Bonnie was a hard worker, she started at a young age working in food service for St. Mary’s Hospital and then went on to hold a variety of jobs in Biwabik upon moving to the Iron Range in the early 80’s. As a Wife, Mom and Grandma she was instrumental in making sure every birthday and holiday was special in every way!
