VIRGINIA — A 28-year-old man has been arrested as the result of a violation of a domestic abuse no contact order.
Police responding to a report of a domestic disturbance Dec. 27 stopped a vehicle in the 600 block of Third Street South about 8:35 a.m.
Richard Neumann Jr., who was in the vehicle, told officers he was talking to a former girlfriend, also in the vehicle, about her asking a court if the no-contact order could be dismissed so he could move to another state, the police report said.
An officer checked with dispatch and learned a no-contact order on file was active. Neumann was arrested for a violation of the order, handcuffed and transported to the Virginia lockup.
